Dotemu Is Bringing ‘Might & Magic: Clash Of Heroes’ Back On Switch This Summer

A fresh take on the DS RPG puzzler.

The Might & Magic series may have somewhat fallen by the wayside since Ubisoft acquired the rights to the franchise back in 2003, but Dotemu is striving to bring the RPG puzzler back as it’s developing a remaster of the 2009 DS game in Might & Magic: Clash of Heroes – Definitive Edition.

Announced today by publisher Ubisoft, the game is set to release this summer and provide all of the adventuring and puzzling that the DS original did, but with a fresh lick of paint and a good number of quality-of-life improvements thrown in for good measure.

An early tech analysis.

As you have probably seen by now, the first impressions of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom have officially gone live. Nintendo’s already shown a lot of select footage from the game, but one thing that hasn’t been confirmed just yet is the sequel’s performance and resolution.

Fortunately, it seems previews have been able to get an idea of how the new entry runs thanks to directly captured footage. As highlighted by Nintendo World Report, this build of Tears of the Kingdom ran at 30fps with a resolution of 1600 x 900 (900p) in docked mode. It was also mentioned how the game was “consistently” running at this frame rate in most cases, but there were drops during more heated moments.

Hit play in May.

Bytten Studios and Raw Fury have announced that the Pokémon-inspired monster-fusing RPG Cassette Beasts is coming to consoles, including Switch, on 25th May. You’ve only got a month to wait until you can get funky with some unusual, adorable pixel art creatures.

The game is out today on PC via Steam and the Microsoft Store, and the reviews have been pretty darn glowing for this new take on the monster-taming genre. Hands On: Zelda: Tears Of The Kingdom Indulges Your Idiocy In The Very Best Way

This just in: Bokoblins hate apples.

To say there’s been hype surrounding The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom would not just be an understatement, but a fairly poor opening line to any sort of hands-on feature.

On an unrelated note, Nintendo recently invited us to go and have a go at The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom at their European headquarters in Frankfurt. We got a whopping 70 minutes with the game, which felt like no more than ten with all the stuff we wanted to proverbially bathe ourselves in, so how did it hold up? Has this so-called hype been justified?

From what we have seen of Tears of the Kingdom so far, it’s fair to say that the legendary blade has seen better days and, fortunately, all of those ‘days’ are showcased in a recent video published by @NintendoUK on Twitter.
