Launching 2025.
Publisher Thunderful has revealed Lost in Random: The Eternal Die, a roguelite action game that serves as a sequel to the well-regard action-adventure title, Lost in Random.
Currently slated to release in 2025, it sees you take on the role of Aleksandra, formerly the Queen of Random, as she traverses a randomly-generated gauntlet in order to escape the ‘Eternal Die’. You’ll face off against a host of montrous pawns and giant board games in your quest, and you must collect a wide range of treasure that will increase your chances of survival.

Sneaking out of the shadows early 2025.
Tripwire Interactive and Blasphemous developer The Game Kitchen have revealed The Stone of Madness, a new tactical stealth adventure for Switch set in 18th century Spain.
Launching early 2025, the game focuses on the lives of ‘five forsaken inmates’, who must work together to escape the confines of a monastery that is said to be both a prison and a madhouse. United to overcome corruption, violence, and the threat of their own fears, the five characters will need to solve puzzles, obtain clues, and work to maintain their sanity.

Earlier this year in March, The Pokémon Company called time on Pokémon TV, with the service no longer available on the app, browsers, or devices like the Nintendo Switch.
While it seemed like it might be done with this sort of service, it appears WildBrain – a “global leader in kids’ and family entertainment” – has now been selected by TPC as the “only distributor of the “single-IP Pokémon FAST (free ad-supported television) channel”.

Strategy, RPGs, and penguins galore!
The Future Games Show returns once again for its third showcase of the year, which as always, takes place at Gamescom.
Hosted by Alex McKenna (Sadie Adler from Red Dead Redemption 2) and Ned Luke (Michael De Santa from Grand Theft Auto V), there were over 50 games on show. And while Switch offerings were on the slight side, there’s a better showing here than last night’s ONL.

We know that the ‘Switch 2’ is real. We know an announcement is coming this fiscal year. We know “Switch successor” is the most accurate description of it. All of the other big details — what form it will take, how big it will be, whether it will finally give us that flipping Wind Waker port — are all up to speculation and analysis for the time being.
Take, perhaps, one of the biggest questions of them all: How much will ‘Switch 2’ cost? In the absence of an official announcement, we still have no idea, but that hasn’t stopped certain analysts from throwing out predictions and it won’t stop us from looking to the past to try and determine the future.

When the Nintendo Museum opens up on 2nd October 2024, we’re sure a bunch of fans will be piling through the doors, eager to get a look at all of the beautiful exhibits and play with the interactive stations. But, if you’re one of the lucky ones who manages to snag a ticket, there will be a delightful little surprise even before you enter the museum.
Spotted by Nintendo Wire, your unique entry ticket — if you get one, that is! — will show your Mii on the front. That’s a superb little touch, especially given that you need a Nintendo account to grab tickets to the museum.

Latest entry launches February 2025.
The upcoming Switch title Sid Meier’s Civilization VII was confirmed to launch for Switch on February 11th 2025 during Gamescom’s Opening Night Live showcase. It’s also been revealed that the in-game narrator will be none other than English actor Gwendoline Christie.
Christie has become pretty well-known in recent years thanks in large part to her exceptional role as Brienne of Tarth in Game of Thrones. She also played the underutilised Captain Phasma in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi, and more recently appeared in TV shows such as Wednesday and The Sandman.
