It’s now been over six years since the Switch launched globally back in 2017. Naturally, our thoughts are beginning to drift over to what could potentially come next from Nintendo. Random: Watch This GBA SP Get A LEGO Makeover

And it can even play Mario!

We have seen a number of awesome revamped consoles over the years and the best of them leave us feeling slightly heartbroken that we can’t get one of our own. In the case of this fully functional LEGO Game Boy Advance SP, you can consider our hearts well and truly shattered.

This project was taken on by YouTuber Retro Stash Repairs, who decided to give the brilliant little GBA SP a brand new lease of life, brick by brick (thanks, Kotaku). To be clear, this isn’t just a standard version of the console with a bunch of LEGO pieces stuck to the outside, this is a bespoke casing made entirely out of LEGO, with the interior workings of the console added in.

Disney Speedstorm “Early Access” Launches On Switch This April

Racing ahead.

After a delay in December last year, Disney Speedstorm is finally back on track with a release date. This new licensed racer will now be launching in “early access” on the Switch on 18th April.

If you would like to join in on the fun early, you can pre-order the standard founder’s pack for $29.99 USD or you can get the deluxe or ultimate packages for $49.99 / $69.99. This game will also be released as a free-to-play title at a later date.

Splatoon 3’s Next Splatfest Is A Monster Mashup

What’s that coming over the hill?

Nintendo has announced the date and theme of Splatoon 3‘s next Splatfest and this one is promising to be particularly monstrous. After getting us to choose between our favourite flavours of chocolate last time around, it’s time to get your tinfoil hats out for this one as the Splatfest asks, “Which of these is real?”

Announced via @NintendoUK, the options on the table this time around are Nessie, Aliens or Bigfoot, with the three teams inking up Turf War battles to become crowned as the creature champ between 1st-3rd April.

Nintendo Reveals Limited Edition Golden Power-Up Band For Super Nintendo World

Coming to the Japan park later this week.

As part of the Super Nintendo World experience, Nintendo has a special Power-Up Band that interacts with everything around the park. There’s already a variety of different colours available and soon there’ll be a “limited-edition” one joining the line-up at Universal Studios theme park in Japan.
