They are a special way to stand out from the crowd and have something that feels a little more ‘you’. So, when it comes to the Switch (Nintendo’s second best-selling console of all time) there are a boatload of them.

A few months ago we collected together all of the Zelda-themed consoles from Nintendo’s history, revealing a long list of some of the sexiest designs out there. But the Switch was notably absent from this ranking (in an official capacity at least — those Tears of the Kingdom OLED rumours intensify by the week), so we thought that it was only fair to shine the light on Nintendo’s latest and (second) greatest in response.

Nintendo’s Next Switch Game Trial Has Been Announced For Online Subscribers (US)

One surprise announcement during the most recent Nintendo Direct was We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie. It’s coming out this June on Switch and is a follow-up to Katamari Damacy REROLL.

Ahead of this game’s release, Nintendo is giving Switch Online subscribers in the US a chance to play the first ‘Reroll’ Switch release for free from the 20th to 26th of February.

Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist Of The End & The Secret Key Has Gone Gold

No more delays.

Last month, Atelier Ryza 3: Alchemist of the End & the Secret Key was delayed from a February launch until 24th March 2023. At the time, the game’s producer Junzo Hosoi mentioned how the title required “additional time to fine-tune”.

Now, in an update, Koei Tecmo has revealed the third entry has officially gone gold. In other words, it’s now completed development and is ready to go into production. Here’s a Google translation of this update

The Super Mario Bros. Movie is just around the corner, so it’s no surprise more details about this anticipated Illumination animation are surfacing each day.

The latest morsel of information comes from the Irish Film Classification office. According to the website, Mario’s movie will run for 1 hour and 32 minutes (that’s 92 minutes in total). It’s not far off other Illumination animations like Despicable Me 2 (1 hour and 38 minutes).

This title was originally announced for Nintendo’s hybrid system last year. It’s described as a “blast from the past” and comes packed with the retro NES and Game Boy hits Bill & Ted’s Excellent Video Game Adventure and Bill & Ted’s Excellent Portable Adventure.

Random: This Official Wailord Pokémon Plush Could Actually Squash You

“Big. Blue. Buddy.”.

A big, heavy Pokémon deserves a big ol’ plushie, right? That’s obviously what The Pokémon Center thought with Wailord, who has a big of a reputation among Pokemon fans for its size.

Well, it’s a whale, so it should be big, right? Right. So it makes sense that you can buy a 57 ¾ inch-sized Wailord plush — that’s just shy of 1.5 metres, by the way. That’s 1/10th of the size of Wailord itself, so if you buy ten, then you can get an idea of just how big is. So what we’re saying is, yes, a plushie could squash you.
