Disney Speedstorm Won’t Nerf Monsters, Inc. Racer Mike Wazowski

But Gameloft will “continue to monitor the situation”.

There have been some concerns raised about the upcoming F2P release Disney Speedstorm, with early access players claiming the Monsters, Inc. racer Mike Wazowski is too powerful. His unique skill “Hold the Door” allows him to teleport himself forward and rival racers backward.

A lot of the game’s community is reportedly calling for him to be nerfed and in response, developer Gameloft has now issued the following statement in a Q&A segment on the official website. To cut to the chase, it won’t be making any changes to the character, but it will “continue to monitor the situation”.

Feature: Best Royals In Nintendo Games – Who’s Your Favourite?

Dauphindom.

Nintendo games are filled with royals and, for the most part, they are significantly less controversial than any real-world monarchs. You won’t catch HRH Princess Zelda yawning during a Hylian military parade, or King Boo claiming he’s physically incapable of perspiring (although that might make sense in his case).

Nintendo Land tabloids seem to be a great deal more respectful and courteous, too, compared to paparazzi hiding in bushes with six-foot lenses to catch how many sugars Lady Patricia Bourgetout Heffington-Heffington takes in her Darjeeling.

Feature: “What If The Celebrated Detective Was Actually A Bit Of A Bumbling Fool?”

How lockdown led to comedy-mystery ‘Loco Motive’.

Creating an engaging and humorous point-and-click adventure can be a hefty challenge at the best of times, but for developer Robust Games, the endeavour provided a much-needed release from the isolation that the nationwide lockdowns spawned during the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic.

Since its initial announcement for the Switch at the tail-end of 2021, you’d be forgiven if Loco Motive slipped from your mind through 2022 as its planned release window came and went. But when a simple tweet from creative director Adam Riches garnered nearly 15,000 likes just a couple of weeks ago, it’s clear that this comedic twist on a classic Agatha Christie story is resonating with murder mystery fans worldwide.

Random: Nintendo Apparently Wasn’t A Fan Of Tiger & Hasbro’s Pokédex Toy

“They didn’t like us very much”.

Remember the original Pokémon Pokédex toy released by Tiger Electronics and Hasbro Toys back in the day? Well, apparently Nintendo’s Japanese team made it an absolute nightmare to bring to market.

Speaking to Johto Times recently, former Tiger & Hasbro senior game producer Chris Nicolella (between 1997 – 2001) revealed the entire story behind the development cycle – explaining how Nintendo’s Japanese headquarters wasn’t a big fan of the US toy company and made the entire process “very difficult” due to concerns about the device taking sales from the Game Boy releases.
