How does the Switch version hold up?

The new wrestling game AEW: Fight Forever has been out for just over a week now, and the tech experts at Digital Foundry have now released their own review of the game, detailing the performance on the Nintendo Switch.

This game is running on Unreal Engine 4 and in docked mode has a resolution of 720p. As for portable mode, wrestling fans can expect “around” 480p.

Featuring “behind-the-scenes insights” into Pokémon Horizons.

The Pokémon Company International is going to be at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con International, and it will be holding a panel on 20th June all about the anime.

Comic-Con’s schedule, which was updated yesterday, shows that TPCi will be holding a panel titled Pokémon: Bringing Iconic Animation to Global Audiences and will be giving the audience a behind-the-scenes look at one of the most beloved media franchises. The panel kicks off at 11:45am local time and finishes at 12:45pm.

Pre-orders are now open.

2K has today announced that pre-orders for NBA 2K24 are now open, revealing Kobe Bryant as this year’s cover athlete.

The game is set to release on 8th September, with Switch owners getting the option of the standard Kobe Bryant Edition or the bulkier Black Mamba Edition which includes bonuses such as extra VC, various MyTEAM packs, MyCAREER skill boosts and much more.

Annual report also reveals gender pay gap in Japan.

According to Nintendo’s annual report published earlier this week, only 4.2% of company managers in Japan are women. This is a number that has remained unchanged since 2021, when the company formed its ‘Nintendo Women and Allies’ initiative, pledging to “promote women’s careers” (thanks, Axios).

On top of this small percentage of female managers at Nintendo Japan, the 2023 annual report was also the first to offer a complete pay breakdown, highlighting a gender pay gap between its employees.
