Hamster Corporation Reveals Its Final Arcade Archives Release Of 2023

It’s Taito’s 1991 game Solitary Fighter.

It’s been another action-packed year of Hamster Corporation retro releases and to go out with a bang, the Japanese video game company will be releasing the 1991 Taito fighting game Solitary Fighter on 28th December. This should make it the final Arcade Archives release of 2023!

Solitary Fighter follows the 1989 Taito arcade game Violence Fight, dating back to 1989. It was also made available earlier this year in the Taito Milestones 2 collection. Here’s a bit more about it and the Arcade Archives series, courtesy of Hamster:

Vampire Survivors Teases Chaos Roadmap, Coming 2024

Get ready to sink your teeth into much more.

The bullet hell indie game Vampire Survivors had plenty of exciting moments throughout 2023 – including a Nintendo Switch release in August. Now, to go out with a bang, it’s released a highlights reel. Along with this it’s also teased the 2024 roadmap (again).

In case you missed it, this “highly cryptic” Chaos Roadmap shows off a bunch of Poncle’s plans for next year including a “top secret” update. If this year is anything to by, it means fans can probably expect more crossovers, features, levels and DLC.
