Last week saw the launch of the Fractal update in No Man’s Sky which brought additions such as new ships, expeditions and even gyro controls to the Switch. Now, Hello Games has released the follow-up patch to solve any issues with the new content.
The ver. 4.12 update is mainly focussed on sorting out bugs that arose with the latest additions to the game. Many of these were focussed on consoles outside of the Switch, though the Nintendo version will see some of the fixes come its way.

In the third season of ‘The Mandalorian’, the journeys of the Mandalorian through the Star Wars galaxy continue. Once a lone bounty hunter, Din Djarin has reunited with Grogu. Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy away from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey together. February has come and gone, and with it came some spectacular new games, including new PS VR2 releases. Which new game will take the Players’ Choice crown? The polls are open now, place your vote below to help decide!
How does it work? At the end of every month, PlayStation.Blog will open a poll where you can vote for the best new game released that month. Soon thereafter, we’ll close the polls, tally your votes, and announce the winner at PlayStation.Blog. PlayStation Store will also showcase some top Players’ Choice winners throughout the year.
What is the voting criteria? That’s up to you! If you were only able to recommend one new release to a friend that month, which would it be? In keeping with our long tradition in the Game of the Year Awards, remastered or re-released games won’t qualify. We last heard about POST VOID — the grotesque, psychedelic FPS with more than a little DOOM inspiration sprinkled in — back in August of last year when the game was set for a September 2022 release. That, obviously, did not happen, but publisher Super Rare Originals has now announced that we will finally be able to dive into the void on 16th March. That’s only two weeks away!
Much like the classic FPS games that inspired it, POST VOID is all about making your way through a series of procedurally-generated levels as quickly as you can, shooting anything that stands in your way. One look at the gameplay in the above trailer and you will see that this title from developers YCJY is wild. Expect gory kills, crazy colours and a hefty dose of shredding rock thrown in for good measure.

Over 200 Apex Legends QA testers have been abruptly laid off by EA
Apex Legends. This news comes from a report by Kotaku which says the layoffs happened over a last-minute Zoom call, according to three of their sources. Square Enix pumped out a lot of RPG-style games in 2022, and one of them happened to be the tactical release, The DioField Chronicle. If you were hoping for more from this newer IP, you’re in luck.
The Japanese publisher and developer has announced an update next week on 6th March will be adding a new scenario “Waltaquin’s Story”, a new “Very Hard” difficulty, a new weapon type “Magic Tome” and a New Game+ “Extra Mode” (thanks, Gematsu).
