After releasing on PC earlier this month, Cellar Door Games has now announced that Rogue Legacy 2‘s meaty ‘Swan Song’ update has now made its way over to Switch.
As the name suggests, this is the final content update that will be coming to the game and, we must admit, it’s a pretty good one to go out on. There are a boatload of new additions that have come to the game as a part of this update including three new game modes, a collection of new fabled weapons, the addition of special ‘Dreams’ challenges, and much more.
Assassin’s Creed Mirage is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Xbox One on October 12. A return to stealth for the franchise, Mirage takes place in the ninth century during Baghdad’s Golden Age, with players guiding Basim from a young street thief to a master Hidden One, eventually becoming the man we see in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.
Ubisoft also revealed a new gameplay trailer today, in which fresh features debuted alongside old favorites, with an overall emphasis on stealth, player choice, and parkour. Throwing knives and smoke bombs make their return to the franchise, as do the large-scale choose-your-own-path assassination Black Box missions.
New abilities like Assassin’s Focus let Basim take out a group of guards in an instant, while pole-vaulting lets him traverse rooftops with ease as he makes his getaway. The trailer also provided a glimpse of Fuladh, the Hidden Ones’ Eagle-Master and one of Basim’s key allies in Baghdad.
When Assassin’s Creed Mirage launches worldwide on October 12, players in all parts of the world will have the option to play the game fully in Arabic, with acclaimed Jordanian actor Eyad Nassar voicing Basim in Arabic.

Ubisoft’s Prince Of Persia: The Sands Of Time remake seems to be rewinding the clock on production since the game is still in the “conception” stage of development. The remake was originally supposed to come out four months after its reveal in 2021, tripped into 2022, and was then delayed indefinitely after switching developers. Essentially, this sounds like a Benjamin Button situation.
I didn’t get as deep into The Lord of the Rings: Gollum as our reviewist Rachel, but I do share her view that it is not A Good Game. In fact, I’ve had about as much fun with it as I would on a spa day in the Barad-dûr sulfur pits. Between the soulless platforming, undercooked stealth, tedious storytelling, and framerate stuttering so bad it’s got me killed twice, Gollum is perilously short on likeable qualities. Especially if you’re not into LOTR lore, or fine hattery.

Similar to the shrines located across Hyrule above, The Depths has a series of fast travel points you can activate throughout the darkness called Lightroots. Every Lightroot is directly below a shrine above, meaning you can find them based on the shrine locations or vice versa.
How Many Lightroots are There?
There are a total of 120 Lightroots located in The Depths, which directly correlates with all 120 shrines located on the surface of Hyrule. Not only are all of the Lightroots directly below the shrines, the names of each one are actually the same name of the shrine above, but backwards.
